Field Service Engineer

Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Service Engineer for high-voltage systems to perform installations, commissioning, and on-site maintenance at customer sites in Germany. You will diagnose faults, implement retrofit projects, and ensure HSE and quality standards are met while preparing clear technical reports.

You will travel frequently (nationally and possibly internationally) and collaborate with teams, offering expert support and training to customers on operation and maintenance of HV

Qualifikationen

• Technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Power/Energy Engineering, Mechatronics with focus on electrical engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience in high-voltage technology, ideally in a field service environment.
• Knowledge of high-voltage products (GIS, AIS, transformers or HV components) desirable.
• Willingness to travel frequently, nationally and potentially internationally.
• Independent, structured working style and strong problem-solving skills.
• Customer-oriented demeanor and strong communication skills.
• Reliable and conscientious execution of service assignments at customer sites.
• Good German and good English language skills (minimum B2).

• Analyzing and resolving faults and performing technical diagnostics on-site
• Implementing retrofit, upgrade, and modernization projects
• Ensuring compliance with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) and quality standards
• Preparing technical reports and maintaining clear documentation of service activities
• Working closely with teams and providing competent support and advice to customers
• Training customer personnel in the operation, application, and maintenance of equipment
