Dormont Manufacturing Co is looking for a Field Implementation Specialist to ensure high-quality product installations and customer training. This role requires collaboration with the Technical Installation team to deliver regulatory compliant setups and ensure customer satisfaction.
Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in technical installations, preferably in medical devices. The job involves significant travel and the need to meet specific credentialing requirements.
The position offers a salary range of $70,000—$90,000 USD.
The Field Implementation Specialist is responsible for consistently delivering regulatory compliant, high-quality product installation, setup, technical configuration and customer training for their assigned customer product deployments, primarily within the assigned geographical territory. This role works within Cadwell’s Technical Installation team to ensure that all Cadwell-supplied products (both software and hardware) are unpacked, assembled, interconnected, deployed, preconfigured, tested, and ready for use. Additionally, this role is responsible for training customers on the use of installed hardware and software. Customer satisfaction scores, post–go‑live call volumes, and sustainable fiscal metrics are key success indicators for this role.
Work with Customer Implementation Team colleagues to ensure appropriate Technical Installation expectations established during the sales process.
Verify that all appropriate Technical Installation deliverables, and timelines, are documented in a detailed Scope of Work to be signed by both parties prior to the point‑of‑sale and upon successful fulfillment.
Coordinate with Customer Implementation Team colleagues to create an Implementation Plan fulfilling all Technical Installation requirements for each ‘go‑live’.
Execute technical installation activities for assigned product deployments, including equipment assembly, software configuration, networking and validation.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (ISO, FDA, MDR, etc.) during all installation activities.
Fulfill all Technical Installation deliverables in each ‘go‑live’ plan.
Document and escalate any technical installation issues to the Manager, Implementation Planning, as necessary.
Preclude subsequent escalations by recommending appropriate updates to Implementation Team Procedures and Product Installation instructions.
