Your mission

Robots couldn’t handle soft materials. We fixed that.

Now we’re scaling it into reality, and we need the sharpest hands on talents who can make the impossible stick.

At Sewts, we build the intelligence that lets robots manipulate deformable materials like textiles, towels, cables with human‑like precision. Our systems are already deployed in production across Europe and expanding into the US.

We are building a foundational technology stack called Sewts JUPITER. JUPITER uses generative AI to simulate realistically the behavior of deformable & soft objects to create corresponding computer vision models and grabbing strategies. Based on our physical AI, for the first time ever, robots are enabled to handle soft & deformable materials. With over €10M of funding we will bring automation into all untapped industries, like cloth manufacturing, textiles handling, recycling & e‑commerce.

This is where AI leaves the screen and enters the physical world.

And in the physical world, nothing gives you.

Your Role

You are the reason our robots keep running. Not the person who built the AI. Not the one who signed the contract. You’re the one who shows up, opens the cabinet, finds the fault, and gets the system back online. That’s the job. And without it, none of the rest matters.

Our robots are live in facilities across Europe. Everyone of them depends on someone who takes their uptime personally. That’s someone is you.

No degree required. Hands, tools, and the will to fix things — that’s what counts here.

• Maintain, service, and repair sewts robotic systems at customer sites across Europe.
• Carry out hardware installations, replacements, and mechanical adjustments on site.
• Run system diagnostics and troubleshoot faults — electrical, mechanical, and software side.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to keep systems running before problems appear.
• Support new deployments on site during installation and commissioning phases.
• Train customer operators day‑to‑day on system handling and basic troubleshooting.
• Document every service visit, fault, and fix — your reports make the product better.
• Be the calm, reliable presence customers trust when something goes wrong.

Your profile

Who You Are

• Completed vocational training (Berufsausbildung) in mechatronics, electronics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable trade — no university degree needed.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in field service, machine maintenance, or technical support.
• Comfortable working on electromechanical systems — you’ve opened machines, diagnosed faults, and fixed them.
• Calm and methodical under pressure, a broken robot at a customer site doesn’t rattle you.
• Reliable and self‑sufficient in the field, you manage your day, your tools, and your customer.
• Good communicator: you can explain a technical issue clearly to someone who isn’t technical.
• Willing to travel regularly across Europe (approx. 40–60%).
• Driving licence required.
• English fluency required; German is a strong plus.

Nice to Have

• Experience with industrial robots or automated production systems.
• Basic knowledge of robot programming or PLC systems.
• Familiarity with pneumatic or sensor‑based systems.
• Previous experience in a startup or fast‑moving technical environment.
