Allan-Ashford Technology Recruitment is helping a fast-growing international technology company recruit an Application Engineer to join the European application engineering team. The role focuses on robotics, vision systems, and customer-facing solutions across Europe.

You will commission 3D vision applications with industrial robots at customer sites, verify interfaces, conduct feasibility studies, deliver trainings, and collaborate with sales and R&D to improve products and support customers.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics or comparable technical background.
• Experience with industrial robots and/or cobots (commissioning & programming).
• Basic understanding of industrial machine vision.

• Commissioning and final acceptance of 3D vision applications with various industrial robots at customer sites.

Allan-Ashford Technology Recruitment is currently supporting a fast-growing international technology company specializing in all-in-one 3D vision solutions for Industrial Robots, as they expand their European application engineering team.

About the Company

The company is a leading provider of 3D vision, point cloud analysis, and robot guidance solutions, working closely with:

• Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers
• System integrators and logistics providers

Your Role

As an Application Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of robotics, vision systems, and customer-facing solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Commissioning and final acceptance of 3D vision applications with various industrial robots at customer sites
• Verifying and adapting hardware & software interfaces
• Conducting and documenting feasibility studies
• Delivering application and product trainings
• Close collaboration with sales and R&D to improve products and customer solutions
• Providing technical and application support to customers

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, or a comparable technical background
• Experience with industrial robots and/or cobots (commissioning & programming)
• Basic understanding of industrial machine vision
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset for complex technical challenges
• Strong communication skills, customer focus, and ability to work independently
• Willingness to travel across Europe
• Very good German and English skills
