Zusammenfassung

Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Field Applications Engineer to support deployment of liquid cooling solutions for next-generation data centres in Europe.

You will be the customer-facing technical expert for direct-to-chip, immersion, and hybrid cooling systems, design support, sizing, commissioning, and troubleshooting, collaborating with sales, engineering, and R&D teams.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical, Thermal, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–7 years of Field Applications, Systems Engineering, or technical support experience.
• Experience with data centre cooling systems is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced Field Applications Engineer to support the deployment of advanced liquid cooling solutions for next-generation data centres.

The Role

• Provide technical support for liquid cooling solutions across hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise data centres.
• Act as the customer-facing technical expert for direct-to-chip, immersion, and hybrid cooling systems.
• Support solution design, system sizing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimisation.
• Work closely with customers, sales, engineering, and R&D teams.
• Deliver technical presentations, training, and support for customer projects and deployments.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 3-7 years' experience in Field Applications Engineering, Systems Engineering, or technical support.

Knowledge of:

• Heat transfer and fluid dynamics
• Thermal and hydraulic analysis
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Experience supporting enterprise, hyperscale, or HPC environments an advantage

Ideal Candidate

• Strong customer communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical problem solver with a hands-on engineering approach.
• Comfortable working independently and travelling across Europe.
• Fluent English required; additional European languages advantageous.
