Facility Coordinator (m/f/d)

This position reports directly to the Maintenance & Facility Manager and is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance of the site's technical infrastructure. The role includes coordinating facility management activities, managing external service providers, and overseeing maintenance and improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor technical building systems and infrastructure, including HVAC, fire protection, compressed air, and electrical systems.
• Manage and supervise external contractors and service providers, including maintenance activities, compliance inspections, and regulatory requirements.
• Request, evaluate, and negotiate technical quotations while coordinating procurement activities and technical projects with internal stakeholders.
• Independently manage small to medium-sized technical projects, from requirements definition through implementation.
• Provide hands-on operational support when needed, contributing to troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Profile

• Technical qualification as a Technician, Master Craftsman (Meister), or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Mechatronics, Facility Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in technical facility management or industrial maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of building services systems (TGA), including HVAC, fire protection, compressed air, and electrical installations.
• Experience managing external contractors, evaluating technical proposals, and coordinating maintenance activities.
• Familiarity with relevant technical and safety regulations (e.g., BetrSichV, DGUV, ArbStättV, VDE, or similar).
• Well‑organized, self‑driven, and hands‑on professional with strong communication skills, assertiveness, and a high sense of responsibility.
