• Prepare and develop schedules supporting external financial filings for The Allstate Corporation and its subsidiaries, including SEC/GAAP and NAIC/Statutory reporting
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparing journal entries and resolving reporting issues
• Perform financial, statistical, and trend analyses to identify unusual results, investigate variances, and communicate findings
• Prepare information, schedules, and supporting analysis for investment-related external disclosures
• Report and analyze financial, capital, and operational data for management reporting and business decision-making
• Assist in preparing financial reports, presentations, and executive-level materials
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, resolve reporting questions, and ensure financial accuracy
• Apply accounting principles and financial concepts to reporting, reconciliation, and analytical activities
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to projects enhancing reporting efficiency, controls, and data quality

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial reporting, investments, analytics, or a related field preferred

• Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and investigate variances
