Zusammenfassung

Jobtailor in Germany seeks an FP&A Analyst to support annual budgets and rolling forecasts, conduct variance and profitability analysis, and build financial models. You will contribute to executive reporting and partner with Billing/RevOps on pricing and margins.

Responsibilities include dashboards, BI reporting, data quality, and automation of recurring finance tasks. SaaS and NetSuite experience are a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 1–3 years of FP&A or related experience in finance or business analysis.

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to handle large datasets.
• Ability to present financial data clearly to financial and non-financial audiences.
• Hands-on experience with financial or ERP systems.

• Experience with a cloud data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake) or BI tools (Power BI) preferred.

• Support the development and maintenance of annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Conduct budget-to-actual variance analysis and profitability analysis.
• Build and maintain financial models for business decisions, including scenario analysis.
• Contribute datasets and analysis to board and executive reporting.
• Conduct gross margin analysis by product, segment, and customer cohort.
• Support pricing strategy and annual price increase analysis.
• Partner with Billing and RevOps to validate pricing and margin data.
• Assist with monthly/quarterly commission calculations and quality checks.
• Ensure commission data accuracy for bookings, quotas, and contracts.
• Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies.
• Collaborate on data and systems supporting BI, recurring reporting, and analysis.
• Automate recurring deliverables such as commission calculations.
• Contribute to data warehouse infrastructure work.
• Document business logic behind recurring Finance calculations.
• Build or maintain dashboards and reporting views.
• Flag upstream data quality issues and coordinate resolution.

• Support pricing strategy and annual price increase analysis, modeling impact across customer segments and product lines.
• Partner with Billing and RevOps to validate pricing and margin data.
• Support monthly/quarterly commission calculations for Sales, Partner, and Operations teams, including quality control checks.
• Ensure commission data such as bookings, quotas, and contract terms is accurate.
• Investigate and resolve commission discrepancies.
• Partner on data and systems supporting business intelligence, recurring reporting, and analysis.
• Automate recurring deliverables such as commission calculations.
• Contribute to company-wide data warehouse infrastructure work.
• Document business logic behind recurring Finance calculations.
• Build or maintain dashboards and reporting views.
• Flag upstream data quality issues and work with relevant teams to resolve them.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, or in a similar FP&A, accounting, or business analysis role.
• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and financial modeling.
• Working knowledge of SQL and curiosity to learn more.
• Excellent analytical skills and comfort working with large, sometimes imperfect datasets.
• Ability to present financial data clearly through reports, charts, and summaries for both financial and non-financial audiences.
• Hands-on experience with financial or ERP systems.
• Strong personal accountability for accuracy, particularly on recurring deliverables that affect employee pay.
• Preferred: Experience in a SaaS or subscription-based business.
• Preferred: Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP platform.
• Preferred: Experience with a cloud data warehouse platform (e.g., Snowflake) or BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Preferred: Prior experience with sales commission calculations, gross margin analysis, or pricing analysis.
