We are looking for two highly motivated and solutions‑oriented Export Compliance Specialists (d / f / m) to join our team in Hamburg Fuhlsbuettel. Bring your dynamic expertise to guide and advise our specialist departments on implementing foreign trade law and specific Airbus policies.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
  • Regulatory Watch : Proactively monitor and interpret the continuous evolution of national and international Export Control laws and regulations (including ITAR and EAR).
  • Clearance & Licensing : Prepare comprehensive export control documentation to ensure the timely release and clearance of all shipments. Apply for and manage Export Licenses and maintain meticulous record‑keeping.
  • Risk Assessment : Monitor, manage and update the internal register of products, documentation, equipment, components and parts subject to export restrictions.
  • Advisory & Point of contact : Serve as a trusted advisor and key contact for various business functions providing expert guidance and support on all export control matters.
  • Process Excellence : Drive the continuous improvement of the export control function including developing and delivering training programmes, conducting internal surveys and optimising processes.
  • Supply Chain Integration : Support and coordinate export control actions across the entire supply chain to ensure seamless compliance.

If you meet all the requirements you can expect an annual gross salary between 74,000 - 90,000 €.

Your Boarding Pass
  • Education : A degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade or an equivalent vocational qualification with several years of relevant professional experience
  • Expertise : Profound experience in the field of Export Control (EU national law, BAFA, US‑ITAR, EAR)
  • Project Experience : Initial experience in projects is a plus
  • Tech Savvy : Expertise in handling export‑relevant software systems (e.g. SAP GTS)
  • Communicator : The ability to simplify and effectively convey complex matters
  • Engaging & Convincing : Presentation, persuasion and assertiveness skills
  • Languages : Business‑fluent command of both German and English (negotiation level)
