RHESO.TECH is seeking a Compliance Manager with Export Control responsibility in the Munich area to strengthen governance and ensure compliance with international export regulations within a defence technology environment.

You will classify products and technologies, review licensing and end-use matters, manage applications, and coordinate with authorities and internal teams, delivering training and shaping the company’s export control policy.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or professional training in International Trade, Customs, Law, Compliance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Export Control and Trade Compliance.
• Fluent German and English.
• Experience with AWG/AWV, EAR, ITAR frameworks.
• Ability to interact with governmental authorities.

Aufgaben

• Classifying products under export control regulations.
• Reviewing export transactions, end-use declarations, sanctions, embargoes, and licensing requirements.
• Managing export, transfer, and shipping license applications, renewals, and documentation.
• Coordinating interactions with governmental authorities and internal stakeholders.
• Developing and maintaining export control policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Implementing practical controls and compliance processes across the organization.
• Advising Legal, Finance, Logistics, Engineering, and Compliance teams on export-related matters.
• Delivering training and awareness programs on export control requirements.
• Monitoring regulatory developments and translating new requirements into business processes.
• Strengthening documentation, monitoring, and escalation procedures.

As part of its growth, the company is looking for a Compliance Manager with Export Control responsibility to strengthen its governance framework and ensure full compliance with international export regulations.

As a Compliance Manager (Export Control & Trade Compliance), your responsibilities will include:

• Good understanding of AWG/AWV, Dual-Use regulations, EAR, and ITAR frameworks
• Ability to balance operational case management with strategic policy development
• Experience interacting with governmental authorities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent German and English
• Eligibility for German Security Clearance (SÜ2/Ü2)

€60,000 - €95,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience, performance, and expertise.
