KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA in Einbeck invites an Expert (m/f/d) - Digital Farming Solutions to drive development and continuous improvement of our digital farming portfolio. The role is based at our Einbeck HQ with a permanent, full‑time commitment and hybrid working within Germany.

You will lead product development, establish partnerships, and empower sales with agronomic insights to deliver cutting-edge tools like Variable Rate Seeding and Satellite Dry Matter Monitoring.

Qualifications

• Academic degree in agronomy or digital farming or comparable.
• Proven background in digital farming and agronomy.
• Strong communication skills in English and German; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience with agile or waterfall project management is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop our portfolio of digital farming solutions (e.g. Variable Rate Seeding, Satellite Dry Matter Monitoring).
• Establish and develop partnerships and connectivity solutions around digital offerings.
• Train and advise sales teams in the use of digital farming tools from an agronomic perspective.
• Share knowledge and build competence in digital farming within a network of specialists.
• Ensure a unified customer experience, data sources, standards and structures within digital farming.
• Oversee cooperations, trends and contacts with start-ups and other AgriTech companies.

Your Tasks:

• Manage and develop our portfolio of our leading digital farming solutions, including e.g. Variable Rate Seeding or Satellite Dry Matter Monitoring Tools
• Establish and develop partnerships and connectivity solutions around our digital offerings
• Train and advise sales teams in the use of digital farming tools from an agronomic perspective
• Knowledge sharing and build-up of competence in digital farming as part of a network of digital farming specialists
• Securing a unified customer experience, data sources, standards and structures within digital farming
• Responsible for cooperations, trends and contacts to start-ups and other companies in the AgriTech sector

Your Profile:

• Preferably an academic degree with focus on agronomy or digital farming or comparable
• Proven background in digital farming and agronomy
• Knowledge of agile and waterfall project management is an advantage
• Link between marketing, business and IT
• Existing networks in digital/smart farming or AgTech would be a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex topics
• Good command of both English and German; additional languages are an asset
