Exyte is seeking an Expert Cost Control (m/f/d) to make cost structures transparent and support strategic decisions through smart analyses. The role operates from our Dresden-area offices in Ottendorf-Okrilla or nearby Kirchheim, with exposure to international project environments.

You will contribute to project profitability monitoring, cost calculations, and the development of robust controlling methods while collaborating across finance and operations.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Business Administration or comparable qualification in finance or accounting.
• Several years of experience in controlling, preferably in mechanical or plant engineering and international environments.
• Solid expertise in operations and project controlling; project cost calculation is a plus.
• Advanced MS Office skills; experience with ERP systems (Navision or SAP S/4HANA) preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and autonomous working style.
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Conducting monthly project reviews with operational project teams while monitoring profitability, cash flow, and liquidity.
• Supporting project cost calculations and related financial analyses.
• Reporting cost over- and under-absorption with detailed analysis of drivers.
• Managing production controlling activities and KPIs; improve controlling tools.
• Developing and optimizing controlling methods, tools, and reporting structures.
• Maintaining master data quality in the ERP system.
• Assisting in preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, ad hoc analyses, and annual financial statements.

The position can be filled in our offices Kirchheim near Munich or Ottendorf-Okrilla in the Dresden area.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Conducting and facilitating monthly project reviews with operational project teams while monitoring project profitability, cash flow, and liquidity
• Supporting project cost calculations and performing related financial analyses
• Report cost over‑and under‑absorption and provide detailed analysis of the primary operational and financial drivers.
• Managing production controlling activities, including monitoring relevant KPIs and continuously improving existing controlling tools
• Contributing to the development and optimization of controlling methods, tools, and reporting structures
• Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of master data quality within the ERP system
• Assisting in the preparation of management reports, budgets and forecasts, ad hoc analyses, business cases, variance analyses, and the annual financial statements

Show Your Expertise

• Degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in controlling, preferably within the mechanical or plant engineering industry and ideally in an international environment
• Solid expertise in operations and project controlling; experience in project cost calculation is considered an advantage
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office and, ideally, practical experience with ERP systems (e.g., MS Navision or SAP S/4HANA)
• Strong communication skills combined with a structured, analytical, and self‑reliant working style
• High level of ownership and proactive approach, along with excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
