FDH Aero is seeking a highly organized Expeditor to support purchasing, sales, and operations by monitoring supplier commitments and ensuring timely delivery of critical parts and materials.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and adept at using data and reporting tools to resolve delivery issues. ITAR and U.S. requirements may apply for certain positions.

Qualifikationen

• Highschool Diploma is required.
• 3 years of Expeditor related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be computer savvy and able to learn proprietary software.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, conditional formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.).

Aufgaben

• Be the primary point of contact for internal inquiries related to vendor delinquent parts.
• Use the computer system and reporting tools to manage orders and forecast requirements.
• Contact vendors to ensure components are supplied on specified shipping dates by email, portal, or phone.
• Arrange distribution of materials upon arrival when needed.
• Inform sales and production teams of available dates for parts being progressed.
• Monitor and progress orders through all purchasing stages with urgency.
• Provide feedback to internal customer requirements as appropriate.
• Support other expediting or purchasing activities as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We Are Looking For

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Expeditor to support purchasing, sales, and operations by monitoring supplier commitments and ensuring critical parts and materials are delivered on time. This position will serve as a key point of contact for vendor-delinquent parts, proactively communicate with suppliers, track outstanding orders, and provide internal teams with accurate updates regarding expected delivery dates. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing changing priorities, and using data and reporting tools to identify and resolve potential delivery issues.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Be the primary point of contact for internal inquiries relating to vendor delinquent parts
• Utilize the computer system and reporting system and printed documentation for control and identification of customer order requirements and forecast requirements
• Contacts vendors to ensure that components and parts are supplied on specified shipping date. Contact may be made by e-mail, portal or telephone
• May arrange for distribution of materials upon arrival
• Inform the sales and production teams of likely dates for availability of all parts being progressed
• Status product through all stages of purchasing ensuring the urgency is understood by all people involved
• Receive and action specific requests for expediting. Regularly review the outstanding requirements of the customers, production, and sales
• Where appropriate, provide feedback to internal customer requirements
• Other expedite or purchasing support roles such as order acknowledgement and confirmations
• Other duties as assigned

Special Requirements

• U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
• ITAR requirement
• 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
