The Hoxton Hamburg is seeking an Executive Chef to lead a large kitchen team across two bustling outlets in Hamburg. You will drive menu innovation while upholding our brand standards and ensuring exceptional guest and team experiences.

We are looking for a creative leader with 3+ years in a similar role, proven team leadership, and a track record of achieving KPI targets in labour and COS. This is a dynamic, rewarding hospitality environment with room for growth.

The Hoxton’s second hotel in Germany is set to open in Hamburg, a city of stunning architecture criss-crossed by hundreds of canals and home to parks, cultural venues and a bustling gastronomic scene. Set as part of the exciting Alter Wall redevelopment project, The Hoxton, Hamburg will feature 188 bedrooms of varying sizes, a large lobby bar and ground floor restaurant, a beautiful rooftop restaurant and The Apartment - The Hoxton’s signature meeting and event space.

Job Description

What you’ll do…

• Lead a large, dynamic kitchen team in two of the most exciting new restaurants in Hamburg.
• Drive innovation and create a culture of menu development.
• Have a firm grip on the costs of the restaurant kitchen, from labour through to always striving to find efficient solutions whilst maintaining the quality and integrity of the menu.
• Both guest and team experience will be at the heart of all you do. You’ll lead your team by example, keeping them involved and motivated; helping them feel empowered and supported, confident in providing top Hox experiences for our guests and comfortable turning to you with questions.

Qualifications

What we are looking for…

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar Executive Chef role in a busy, bustling environment with freshness and provenance of ingredients as a key priority.
• Proven track record managing large kitchen teams across multiple outlets and kitchens.
• A true passion for creativity whilst maintaining the integrity of our brand standards through the dishes on the menu.
• Managerial skills to achieve budgeted KPI’s in labour and COS%.
