Amazon Pforzheim GmbH is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the General Manager and Operations Team at the STR1 Fulfillment Center. The role is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information while coordinating calendars, travel, and expense management, plus managing local projects.
You will drive process standardization, monitor operational metrics, and partner with safety, IT, HR and facilities to ensure resources and deadlines are met.
The Executive Assistant will support the General Manager and Operations Team of an Amazon Customer Fulfillment Center, STR1. A successful candidate is highly organized, extremely detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to handle confidential information while responding effectively to shifting workloads and priorities. This role combines classic executive support — scheduling, travel, expense management, and meeting coordination — with ownership of local projects, process standardization, and operational metrics across the FC. The ideal candidate communicates with clarity, manages multiple assignments and stakeholders simultaneously, and thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven fulfillment environment where it's always DAY1.
You start the day reviewing the General Manager's calendar and prepping for the daily operations review of key FC metrics (safety, quality, productivity). Mid-morning, you coordinate with key stakeholders to unblock an active project, then update site leadership team. You handle travel and expense tasks between meetings, build a presentation for an upcoming steering committee, and consolidate improvement ideas from associates on the floor. Your internal stakeholders span regional and local teams; your "customers" are the FC's leaders and frontline associates. You close the day setting tomorrow's priorities.
Amazon strives to be Earth's most customer-centric company, where people can find and discover virtually anything they want to buy online. Our Customer Fulfillment (CF) network is the heart of Amazon's physical operations. Amazon operates FCs across Germany, each processing millions of units annually using advanced technologies and continuously improving processes to ensure customers receive their orders accurately and on time. We are driven by innovation, genuine curiosity, and operational excellence, working alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry to build Europe's fastest and most reliable fulfillment network.
