CONMED Corporation is seeking an Events & Marketing Communications Coordinator DACH to plan and execute local and regional customer events, workshops, and congresses in the DACH region. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Medical Education, Compliance and Finance to drive engagement and ensure compliant, high-impact programs.

You will coordinate logistics, budgets, vendor management, translations, and internal communications while aligning with EMEA strategy and supporting EEMEA

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, communications, administration, or similar support roles.
• Experience within Medical Devices, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences preferred.
• Fluent German and English (written and spoken).

The Events & Marketing Communications Coordinator DACH is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing local and regional marketing initiatives, events, and communication activities that support business objectives and enhance CONMED's brand visibility across DACH while supporting selected EEMEA Events & Marketing Communications activities as required.

This role serves as a key partner to the DACH Sales, Marketing, and Medical Education teams, as well as external stakeholders, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality events and impactful marketing communications. The specialist collaborates closely with cross-functional teams and the Events & MarCom Manager EEMEA & DACH to drive engagement and support the execution of marketing programs and events in the DACH & EEMEA Region.

The Events & Marketing Communications Coordinator DACH reports to the Events & MarCom Manager EEMEA & DACH and is an integral member of the wider EMEA Events & MarCom Team, serving as a key operational contact for Events and Marketing Communications activities in the DACH region, contributing to regional initiatives and sharing best practices across markets.

Key Responsibilities

Event Management (60%)

• Support the planning and execution of local and regional customer events, workshops, cadaver labs, training programs, and congresses.
• Coordinate all event logistics, including venue sourcing, vendor management, travel, accommodation, catering, and onsite support.
• Support budget tracking and ensure cost-effective execution of approved activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support event objectives, agenda development, and attendee management.
• Support faculty and KOL engagement activities in accordance with compliance requirements.
• Coordinate exhibitor opportunities and CONMED presence at national and regional congresses.
• Support post-event evaluation and reporting, including attendee feedback, event metrics, and recommendations for future improvements.
• Maintain event planning timelines and project trackers to ensure successful execution.
• Coordinate attendee registration and event communications.
• Support event-related invoice processing, and administrative documentation.

Marketing Communications (30%)

• Support the development and implementation of local marketing communication plans aligned with EMEA strategy.
• Coordinate translation, localization, and distribution of approved marketing materials.
• Coordinate internal communication initiatives to increase awareness of business activities and successes.
• Support social media and digital marketing activities in collaboration with the EMEA MarCom team.
• Ensure all marketing communications are consistent with brand guidelines and compliance requirements.
• Assist with product launches and commercial campaigns.
• Serve as a key operational contact for local vendors, agencies, venues, and congress organizers.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams including Sales, Product Management, Medical Education, Compliance, and Finance.
• Support contract administration, purchase orders, and invoice processing.Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and local requirements.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in event coordination, marketing, communications, administration, or similar support roles.
• Experience within Medical Devices, Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences is preferred.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
