AVI-SPL Deutschland GmbH in Leverkusen seeks an experienced Event Production Service Delivery Manager to oversee managed event production and broadcasting for a multinational client. You will lead onsite, virtual, and hybrid productions across regions, coordinate teams, and ensure SOPs and governance are applied.

The role requires 10+ years in event production/broadcasting, strong collaboration-platform knowledge, and a focus on service delivery and continuous improvement.

• Excellent communication skills in German and English with a high service-mentality and customer-focused.
• Highly organized and structured for meeting deadlines, balance multiple priorities and work independently.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement an efficient service model that supports end-to-end event, meeting, and broadcast operations across multiple regions.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality production support that meets SLAs, governance standards, and client expectations.
• Lead teams delivering onsite (hybrid, onsite, virtual), support events/broadcasts from the control room, create and implement SOPs for the service delivery area, ensure operational readiness and improve the processes continuously.
• Coordinate internal production teams and advise on best-practices and technological developments.
• Track data and metrics for comprehensive client reporting; analyze performance and metrics for identifying potential areas of improvement and solve incidents.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Event Production Service Delivery Manager will oversee the management and leadership of a managed event production and broadcasting support service for an established multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company. You will work in a team if highly passionate professionals (our internal team as well as our clients' team). This key role is responsible for:

• Production Services Management – Lead the delivery of onsite, virtual, hybrid, and control room-supported productions across multiple client environments, ensuring successful execution of business-critical events.
• Operational Excellence – Develop and implement an efficient service model that supports end-to-end event, meeting, and broadcast operations across multiple regions.
• Service Delivery – Ensure consistent, high-quality production support that meets SLAs, governance standards, and client expectations.

The future incumbent will be responsible for the following areas:

• Lead teams delivering onsite (hybrid, onsite, virtual), support events/ broadcasts from the control room, create and implement SOPs for the service delivery area, ensure operational readiness and improve the processes continuously. Additionally, the future incumbent will be evaluating and enhance production spaces and suggest technological improvements.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, ensure operational excellence and partnering with live event teams and major/ 3rd party-stakeholders for successful event production. Coordinate internal production teams and advise on best-practices and technological developments.
• Team/ individual skill development with trainings and based on individual staff requirements. Planning and ensuring proper staffing of the team, as well as monitoring team performance and implement consequent measures for improvement.
• Track data and metrics for comprehensive client reporting. Analyze performance and metrics for identifying potential areas of improvement and solve incidents. Ensure proper adherence to the SLAs and support escalations as well as improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate reporting and documentation for governance and service management.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The role itself requires an experienced profile as team leading, operational and service activities will have to be managed simultaneously.

• 10 -/+ years of experience in event production/ broadcasting/ AV operations/ video production or streaming services. Experience in leading teams over multiple sites (virtually/ onsite or hybrid) and in operating control rooms.
• In-depth knowledge about enterprise collaboration platforms and hybrid event workflows, preferably in live-production environments.
• Ability to lead and develop teams operationally and strategically. Strong focus on service delivery and operational excellence. Provide recommendations about technological developments and new solutions.
• Well-versed problem-solver being able to analyze data, metrics, trends. Working SLA compliant and feeling at home in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English with a high service-mentality and customer-focused. Easily able to create client relationships and negotiate conflicts.
• Highly organized and structured for meeting deadlines, balance multiple priorities and work independently.
