As Event Manager (m / f / d)
You will be responsible for planning, executing, and measuring the success of our trade fair and event presence across the DACH region, one of our most important sales channels.
You will develop content concepts together with the team, bring back new ideas and trends from each event, and represent jameda & Noa Notes on‑site. You present confidently on stage, pitch our solutions in 1 : 1 settings, and collaborate closely with all departments to generate qualified leads and create tangible pipeline impact. As part of the Marketing team you’ll work hand in hand with Marketing, Sales & Customer Success.
How would you be impacting our mission
Event & trade‑fair management
- Annual and quarterly planning of the event portfolio (flagship trade fairs, congresses, specialist forums, partner formats).
- End‑to‑end organization: space/sponsorship booking, booth concept & vendor management, travel planning, on‑site flow.
- Development & implementation of high‑impact activations (live demos, speaking slots, panels, raffles, meeting programs).
- Development of content concepts for B2B congresses, specialist forums and industry events with a feel for relevant trends & topics.
- Budget ownership incl. forecast, cost control and post‑calculation.
- Independent planning & organization incl. invitations, location, tech / AV and catering coordination.
- Setup and operation of efficient lead‑capture funnels (scanners, QR codes, forms) and appointment processes.
On‑site representation, pitching & sales
- Confident product pitches and live demos on stage, panels and 1 : 1.
- Proactive preparation for and attendance of meetings with (potential) customers; support the sales team at the booth.
- Passion for direct sales: proactive outreach, strong closing skills and the drive to generate growth.
Analytics & reporting
- Goal definition per event (leads, meetings, SQLs, pipeline contribution, ROI) and creation of structured post‑event reports.
- Derivation of concrete action recommendations and continuous optimization of the formats.
After 3 months
- Successful execution of the first events including smooth on‑site operations.
- Measurable contribution to pipeline & revenue through qualified leads & sales.
- Established scalable playbooks for pre‑, on‑site & post‑event processes.
- Strong brand presence: visible speaking slots, high‑quality demos, positive stakeholder feedback.
- On‑time & on‑budget delivery with clear ROI transparency.
Qualifications :
What Will Help You Succeed
- Completed degree (Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications) or comparable commercial training – career changers welcome.
- 35 years of experience in B2B event / trade‑fair management, ideally in SaaS or a medical environment.
- Proven end‑to‑end responsibility for larger trade‑fair appearances incl. budget management.
- Very strong presentation and sales skills: you pitch confidently, conduct demos and feel at ease in direct customer dialogue.
- Passion for direct sales and a strong growth mindset; persistence, stamina and closing strength.
- High self‑motivation and strong communication skills in proactively approaching potential customers and introducing trends.
- Proficiency with CRM / marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot) and common event / lead‑capture solutions.
- Structured self‑reliant working style; strong results orientation.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 50–70% incl. occasional evenings / weekends).
- Language: German at least C1; confident communication in English.
Nice to haves
- HubSpot know‑how (workflows, lists, forms, reports) and marketing automation.
- Experience in healthcare and in engaging with physicians / medical audiences.
- Experience with responsibility for event budgets.
- Experience with webinar / demo tools (e.g. Demodesk) and presentation design (PowerPoint / Keynote).
- Class B driver’s licence.
This role will be based in our Berlin office.
