WeAre Aspire Berlin is seeking an experienced Event Director to lead the operational delivery of large-scale international events. You will own the full journey from planning to execution, build a high-performing team, and ensure exceptional attendee experiences.

This role offers a competitive base salary plus a performance-related bonus and equity participation, with relocation considered. You will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Content and Product to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years' experience delivering large-scale conferences or trade shows (2,000+ attendees).
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Experience owning budgets, forecasting, and cost management.
• Strong vendor management and supplier negotiation skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing P&L.

I'm working with a fast-growing organisation at the forefront of Deep Tech and AI innovation, looking for an experienced Event Director to lead the operational delivery of large-scale international events.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on creating exceptional event experiences, building teams, and owning the full operational journey from planning through to execution.

Location: Berlin (relocation considered)

The Role:

You will take ownership of the operational strategy and delivery of major events, including:

• Leading and growing an event operations team
• Managing the delivery of a 6,000+ attendee flagship event
• Overseeing logistics, suppliers, venue operations, catering, AV, registration, and attendee experience
• Owning budgets, forecasting, cost management, and event profitability
• Negotiating with suppliers and managing key partnerships
• Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Content, and Product teams to deliver outstanding outcomes

About You:

We're looking for someone with:
