World Wide Technology (WWT) seeks an experienced IT professional for the Internal WWT IT Team to manage and support our technology infrastructure, including endpoint configurations, software deployment, and virtual desktop environments. You will ensure security benchmarks, patching, documentation, and cross-team collaboration.

The role emphasizes EUC expertise, scripting, vendor relations, and a proactive support mindset within a global enterprise.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/IS/CS preferred.
• Minimum 8 years progressive experience preferred.
• 5+ years in system administration.
• Experience troubleshooting end-user hardware/software/driver issues.
• Adept at learning cutting-edge technologies on the fly.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Scripting with PowerShell, Batch, Shell, or Python.
• Experience with Virtual Desktop Environments (VMware Horizon, AVDesktop, Citrix).
• Expert OS admin for Windows and macOS.
• Experience with Agile frameworks.
• Experience with Azure Cloud services.
• Command-line proficiency.
• Experience with EMM tools (Intune/Workspace ONE/JAMF).
• Expert in packaging software for mass deployment.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Vendor relationship management experience.
• Automation via APIs or tools like Ansible/ServiceNow.
• VCP-DW or VCTA preferred.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $90,000 to $112,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, deploy, and troubleshoot endpoint configurations and policies for all platforms, to meet security benchmarks
• Create andmaintainsoftware deployment packages for Windows, Mac OS, Android, and iOS.
• Administer virtual desktop environment and supporting infrastructure, including maintenance, support, patching, and documentation.
• Create andmaintaindocumentation for fellow administrators, Service Desk, and end users.
• Assistin patching enterprise end‑user devices with OS and third‑party application updates.
• Evaluate and define hardware standards.
• Identifytechnical problems within EUC systems and work independently todeterminesolutions.
• Work closely with other teams in IT to provide root cause analysis and resolve systemic end‑user issues
• Work closely with the Global Service Desk to drive process enhancements and efficiencies
• Establish andmaintaineffective working relationships with management, coworkers, vendors, and customers.
• Provide support as needed.
• Be a part of the on‑call and support rotation
