Zusammenfassung

World Wide Technology (WWT) is seeking a senior IT Developer to design, develop, and integrate WWT applications and third-party systems. The role involves mentoring junior developers, co-leading complex projects, and delivering high-quality software across cross-functional teams.

You will contribute to strategic planning, champion Agile practices, and ensure robust design, testing, and documentation. Occasional domestic travel up to 10% may be required as part of project delivery.

• Mentorship and Collaboration: Provide guidance and support to junior developers, helping them to develop their skills and navigate technical challenges. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to improve overall team competency.
• Support and Troubleshooting: Offer ongoing support and consultation to address technical issues and ensure solutions meet end-user needs. Provide guidance and direction on production issues.
• Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive technical and configuration documentation. Ensure that technical information is clearly communicated and issues are effectively managed.
• Agile Methodology: Actively engage in Agile development practices including sprint planning, story creation, daily standups, testing, demos and retrospectives. Adapt to evolving requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team's processes and delivery.
• Learning and Development: Continuously learn and understand WWT’s business and technical processes to effectively contribute and and support the evolution of our technology solutions.
• Up to 10% domestic travel required

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a related field
• Bachelor's Degree is BS Computer Science, Computer Programming, or Engineering preferred
• Technical Skills: Front end: Vue3, HTML, CSS, BootStrap, JavaScript; Backend: NodeJS, Rest APIs, Confluent Kafka, Event based programming; Database: Oracle SQL, Pl/Sql; Nice to have: Oracle HCM Cloud, Agentic AI
• Testing: Test first mindset with experience in test automation, unit, functional, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Analytical and Problem Solving Skills: Ability to critically analyze and decompose complex technical requirements. Strong problem-definition, requirements elicitation, impact analysis, and solution design skills.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Capable of presenting ideas clearly and effectively.
• Teamwork and Leadership: Collaborative and team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills. Proven ability to mentor, guide, and work effectively with both offshore and onsite teams.
• Innovation and Creativity: Ability to think innovatively, present alternative solutions, and demonstrate creativity in problem-solving and application design.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $82,000.00 to $123,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

What will you be doing?
