We're seeking an experienced Business Development & Ecosystem Lead to drive growth across the EU and MENA regions. This role focuses on building strategic partnerships, expanding liquidity, and strengthening our DeFi ecosystem through meaningful collaborations with protocols, funds, and key industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Growth & Partnerships: Identify, evaluate, and close strategic partnerships with L1/L2 protocols, DeFi projects, market makers, funds, and family offices to drive user acquisition and trading volume
  • Ecosystem Development: Lead regional on-chain partnerships, integrations, and ecosystem-building initiatives, ensuring alignment with Aster’s global BD and product roadmap
  • Community & Network Expansion: Develop and nurture strong relationships with KOLs, trading communities, VCs, and institutional partners to enhance market visibility and liquidity
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to synchronize BD activities with product updates, campaigns, and community engagement
  • Representation & Advocacy: Represent Aster at industry conferences, AMAs, Telegram communities, and hackathons to promote brand awareness and ecosystem collaboration
  • Regional Leadership: Act as the go-to BD lead for MENA and Europe, capable of driving both business development and marketing execution across regions
Requirements
  • 5+ years of proven business development or partnership experience in perpetual DEXs, futures trading, or DeFi ecosystems
  • EMEA-based, with active coverage of the MENA and EU regions
  • Established network across L1/L2s, DeFi projects, market makers, funds, VCs, and family offices
  • Strong understanding of DeFi protocols, perpetual markets, and on-chain ecosystems
  • Demonstrated success in on-chain partnerships, ecosystem growth, and integration projects
  • Multilingual — fluent in English; Arabic or Mandarin proficiency is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in representing Aster at industry events, panels, and community engagements
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote, and globally distributed environment
