Josef-Schwarz-School in Heilbronn (and Erlenbach) seeks an English Teacher (full-time or part-time) to deliver engaging lessons within our immersion-based, bilingual curriculum, where English is used as a language of learning and collaboration. You will plan and deliver lessons, support independent learning, and work with colleagues across subjects in a warm, international school community.

• Use differentiated teaching methods and materials to meet a wide range of abilities, interests and learning needs
• Bring your own ideas into the classroom and contribute to the development of innovative pedagogical concepts
• Prepare students confidently and holistically for written and oral German school-leaving examinations
• Work closely with colleagues across subjects and disciplines
• Play an active role in our bilingual and international school community

Your Profile

• A recognised teaching qualification for Secondary Education, ideally Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a qualification recognised as equivalent to the German Second State Examination
• Native-level English proficiency and fluency in German
• A passion for teaching young people and supporting their individual development
• An interest in bilingual and immersion-based education
• An open, collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for developing new educational approaches
• The confidence to contribute your own ideas and actively shape school life
