Job summary

Mercor is seeking an Engineering Simulation Specialist to join our remote team contracting with leading AI labs. You will build simulations for AI models and specify pass/fail thresholds to guide model evaluation.

You’ll work independently in a browser-based studio, write Python-based simulations, and collaborate with researchers to ensure outcomes meet engineering standards.

This contract role offers flexible hours and the chance to contribute to cutting-edge AI artifacts alongside top talent.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in control systems, analog or RF circuits, power electronics, or mechanical design.
• Proficient in writing simulations in Python.
• Able to express acceptance criteria as quantitative, testable thresholds.

Compensation: $60-$90/hour
