Clipster is seeking a Software Engineer to enhance our web applications and lead product teams. You will partner closely with product management to shape the technical roadmap, ensuring high-quality releases and continuous improvement of our systems.

We're looking for someone with over 5 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in complex applications, and strong leadership skills. This role emphasizes high collaboration in a fully remote, flexible environment.

• We launched our platform in early 2025
• We grew our team to 35 members
• We scaled from 0 to more than 80,000 active users and processed more than $3.8M in performance-based payouts
• We acquired more than 120 clients solely through word of mouth. Our growth has been 100% organic
• We ran campaigns for companies such as Telegram, UFC, Universal Music Group and artists such as Elton John, Ed Sheeran, Playboi Carti, and Kendrick Lamar
• We\'re profitable and have secured our first investor

A person in this role is expected to:

• Partner closely with Product to shape and de-risk the roadmap 2–3 weeks in advance.
• Translate the Head of Engineering\'s long-term vision into actionable, short-term technical direction.
• Act as the primary translator between stakeholders and engineering, providing clear visibility into tradeoffs and project health.
• Take full accountability for sprint goals, ensuring high-quality releases are delivered on schedule.
• Raise the engineering bar by providing senior technical leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Align individual career aspirations with company milestones, actively coaching engineers to reach their next level

Qualifications

• 5+ year as a Software Engineer working on complex web applications
• At least 2 years leading product teams (not guilds) including managing people
• Experience owning systems end-to-end, including architecture, implementation, reliability, and long-term maintenance
• A mindset geared toward long-term ownership: improving systems over time, simplifying where possible, and reducing operational overhead
