Alstom in Germany seeks a Head of Project Engineering Onboard Signalling to lead a 150‑170 person engineering team across Berlin or Mannheim. You’ll drive the technical delivery plan for signalling projects, deploy advanced rail safety solutions, and coordinate tender activities with cross‑functional teams and customers.
The role requires deep experience in project engineering, railway signalling (ETCS preferred), and strong leadership and communication in German and English.
At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, 80,000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.
Could you be the full-time Head of Project Engineering Onboard Signalling (f/m/d) in Berlin or Mannheim we’re looking for?
Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, in the heart of Berlin, is home to Alstom's DACH regional headquarters. Up to 500 colleagues of more than 40 nationalities work here, focusing on project management, business development, and regional strategy, with a special emphasis on rail digitalisation. Our product line Digital & Integrated Systems (D&IS) answers worldwide mobility challenges for passengers and freight transportation through digitalisation. You’ll report to Tomar Siddhant and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
