Job summary

TRADE in Hamburg is seeking an experienced licensed engineer with Airbus A320 Family experience to join our maintenance operation on a 7 on / 7 off rotation. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, certify work, support line and base tasks, and may take on shift supervisor duties. This is a permanent, full-time position based in Hamburg, with opportunities to progress within a skilled engineering team.

Qualifications

• EASA Part-66 B1 or B2 licence is required.
• Airbus A320 Family type rating.
• Active recency on A320 aircraft.
• Experience in both line and base maintenance environments.
• Excellent English communication skills; German language is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
• Carry out line and base maintenance tasks in accordance with EASA regulations and company procedures.
• Certify maintenance work within licence privileges.
• Support operational requirements, including short-notice deployments when required.
• Potentially undertake Shift Supervisor responsibilities depending on experience and needs.

Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Airbus A320 Family aircraft. Carry out line and base maintenance tasks in accordance with EASA regulations and company procedures. Certify maintenance work within licence privileges. Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Support operational requirements, including short-notice deployments when required. Potentially undertake Shift Supervisor responsibilities depending on experience and operational needs. Support aircraft recovery and Flying Engineer activities when required. Requirements EASA Part-66 B1 and B2 Licence. Airbus A320 Family Type Rating. Active recency on A320 aircraft. Previous experience in both line and base maintenance environments. Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and maintenance procedures. Excellent English communication skills. German language skills are advantageous but not essential. Valid right to live and work within Europe. Ideal Candidate B2 trade engineer holding a B1 licence. Flexible and adaptable approach to operational requirements. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Willingness to travel at short notice when operationally required.
