Job summary

Aviation JobSearch Europa is seeking an experienced aircraft engineer in Hamburg with an EASA B1 and B2 licence and an Airbus A320 family rating. This on-site, permanent role covers line and base maintenance, with a 7 on/7 off rotation and opportunities for supervisory duties.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, certifying work, and ensuring accurate documentation, while contributing to a dynamic operations team across line, base and support activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in both line and base maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced engineers with Airbus A320 Family experience to join a dynamic operation supporting both line and base maintenance activities, with the benefit of an attractive 7 on / 7 off rotation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on Airbus A320 Family aircraft.
• Carry out line and base maintenance tasks in accordance with EASA regulations and company procedures.
• Certify maintenance work within licence privileges.
• Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support operational requirements, including short-notice deployments when required.
• Potentially undertake Shift Supervisor responsibilities depending on experience and operational needs.
• Support aircraft recovery and Flying Engineer activities when required.

Requirements

• EASA Part-66 B1 and B2 Licence.
• Airbus A320 Family Type Rating.
• Active recency on A320 aircraft.
• Previous experience in both line and base maintenance environments.
• Strong knowledge of EASA regulations and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
• Valid right to live and work within Europe.

• B2 trade engineer holding a B1 licence.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Willingness to travel at short notice when operationally required.
