Zusammenfassung

Clario, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is seeking an Engineer, R&D Software Engineering (f/m/d) in Estenfeld to help develop innovative software solutions supporting clinical research and accelerate life-changing therapies worldwide.

In this role you will design, develop, test, and continuously improve software products, collaborating in an agile environment with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and robust architectures across platforms.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Understanding of software engineering principles, methodologies, and development frameworks.
  • Experience developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications.
  • Knowledge of source code management tools and work item tracking systems.
  • Understanding of common software design patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with unit testing and testable software design approaches.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Aufgaben

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and support software applications across multiple platforms using established development standards and best practices.
  • Work within an agile development environment to deliver high-quality software features and enhancements.
  • Contribute to software architecture discussions and support the evolution of products and development processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to solve complex technical challenges and deliver project milestones.
  • Participate in planning and execution of software development activities in partnership with technical leaders and managers.
  • Conduct code reviews to promote knowledge sharing, maintain code quality, and support continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Software Quality Engineering to build solutions that support automated testing and seamless integration throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Utilize source code management and work item tracking tools to support efficient software delivery.
  • Provide technical support and collaborate with other business functions as needed.

What we look for

  • Basic understanding of risk management concepts
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies is an advantage
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud-based software solutions is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
  • Low to no travel required
