In order to support the Site Engineering Team in Finkenwerder, Airbus is looking for an EMH (Electromagnetic Hazards) Specialist Systems Engineer (d/f/m).

As a Systems Engineer & Specialist in the field of EMH within the Aircraft Systems Engineering domain (1YD) at Airbus Commercial, you will directly influence the definition of aircraft system designs. With the increasing electrification of aircraft components—ranging from advanced connectivity systems in the cabin to new propulsion technologies—focusing on Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Hazards (EMH) is becoming more critical than ever.
You will be involved in all development phases: from early concept and design through to certification of our product lines and in-service support of the flying fleet. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly recognized and multi cultural specialist team in the environmental qualification and system standard parts department.
Your mission is to ensure platform protection against Lightning Induced Effects (LIE), High-Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF), and Electromagnetic Environmental Effects.
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
