Qualifications

• Abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in Informatik, W Informatik oder Softwaretechnik.

Responsibilities

• Definition von Embedded-Software-Zielen, Meilensteinen, Arbeitspaketen und Ressourcenbedarf mit den entsprechenden Projektleitern.
• Koordination interner und externer Softwareentwicklung und Tests.
• Sicherstellung von Termin-, Budget-, Qualitäts- und technischen Anforderungen.
• Erstellung und Pflege von Entwicklungsplänen, Statusberichten, Risikoanalysen und Entscheidungsunterlagen.
• Moderation von Meetings, Workshops und Koordinationssitzungen.
• Frühe Risikoerkennung, Abweichungen und Eskalationen mit Gegenmaßnahmen.
• Unterstützung bei Anforderungsanalyse und Priorisierung in enger Abstimmung mit Embedded-Software-Spezialisten, PMs und Product Owners.
• Übersetzung von Anforderungen in strukturierte Entwicklungspläne, Teststrategien und Validierungskonzepte.
• Sicherstellung einer ordnungsgemäßen Übergabe an Betrieb oder Kunden.

At Interroll Innovation GmbH in Hückelhoven, engineers lead and coordinate global innovation projects, support the cross-functional product development activities of the global centers of excellence within the Interroll Group, and evaluate the performance and reliability of technical solutions in a state-of-the-art testing environment. A robust quality management system ensures the recognized and certified quality of the solutions developed. This ensures that existing regulatory requirements are optimally met and that future requirements are systematically anticipated during product development.

• Definition of embedded software goals, milestones, work packages, and resource requirements together with the related project managers
• Coordination of internal and external software development and testing resources
• Ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget specifications, quality standards, and technical requirements
• Creation and maintenance of embedded software development plans, status reports, risk analyses, and decision-making documents
• Moderation of meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions
• Early identification of risks, deviations, and issues requiring escalation, as well as the initiation of appropriate countermeasures
• Support for requirements analysis and prioritization, in close coordination with embedde software specialists, project managers, and product owners
• Translate requirements into structured Embedded Software Development Plans, Test Strategies, and Validation Concepts (in collaboration with development teams)
• Ensuring an orderly handover to operations or to the client

Profil

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in leading Embedded Software Development
• Solid knowledge of traditional and agile project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Scrum, or Kanban)
• Understanding of embedded software development processes, system architectures, interfaces, and testing methodologies
• Experience working with project management and collaboration tools
• Highly passionate about sustainable investments
• Comprehensive research skills and attention to detail
• Fluent English and German
