Job summary

Delta Energy Systems (Germany) GmbH in Soest, Germany, seeks an Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) to develop software for embedded Linux-based systems, including HPC hardware such as power shelves and battery shelves.

You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and program mainly in C, C++, Python. Proficiency with ARM, Yocto/OpenBMC, RESTful APIs and relevant protocols is expected, with travel to international sites possible.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, communications engineering or similar.
• Experience with modern ARM controllers.
• Good knowledge in embedded Linux.
• Knowledge of the Yocto build system, OpenBMC.
• Good knowledge of RESTful APIs (experience with DMTF Redfish and IPMI desirable).
• Knowledge of web interface/GUI development desirable.
• Knowledge in communication protocols (D-Bus, SMBus/PMbus, Modbus, CAN-Bus …) desirable.
• Good written and spoken English skills.
• Independent working style, commitment, creativity and team spirit.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
