Airbus Defence and Space GmbH in Manching is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer for the Flight Control Software team. You will contribute to the development and testing of safety critical real‑time software for Flight Control Computer systems used in air vehicles.

The role requires a Master’s in CS or related field and at least 3 years of professional experience, with knowledge of embedded software and DO-178C/DO-254 standards. English communication is essential; German is a plus.

• Experience with SCADE and Automated Code Generation and Requirements Engineering.
• Hands on experience with safety critical Standards (DO-178C/DO-254).

There is a possibility for an Embedded Software Engineer FCS & FMS (m/f/d) at Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join the department “Flight Control Software”. This team is developing safety critical software, covering manned and unmanned air vehicles in several programmes like Eurofighter and Eurodrone.

• Hands on experience with safety critical Standards (ED-12C/DO-178C, ED-218/DO-331, ED-80/DO-254)


• Experience with ARINC 653 based real-time operating systems and IMA (ED-124/DO-297) highly desired


• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. German language skills are a plus.
