Attis is seeking a hands-on Embedded Software Engineer to join our ambitious UAV robotics program in Munich. You will translate system needs into low-level software architecture, bring new boards to life, and develop drivers for sensors, cameras, and AI accelerators on embedded Linux.

You will configure kernels and device trees, build deployment tools, and debug hardware near software interactions on the bench, contributing to field-ready platforms and production readiness.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years hands-on low-level software or firmware development on embedded systems.
• Strong programming skills in C and Python on embedded Linux.
• Practical experience with hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, MIPI).

The Role

A technical, hands-on role where you will:

The Essential Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on low-level software or firmware development experience.
• Strong programming skills in C and Python on embedded Linux.
• Practical experience with hardware interfaces including I2C, SPI, CAN, Ethernet, or MIPI.
• Proven track record with board bring-up, bootloader troubleshooting, and hardware‑near debugging.

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Experience with secure boot systems, U-Boot, or Yocto custom Linux image creation.
• Hands‑on work with ROS, GStreamer camera pipelines, or NVIDIA Jetson hardware.
• Previous experience deploying robotics, UAVs, or defense hardware in real-world environments.
