United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Embedded Rust Engineer for their innovative Battery Management System (BMS) platform in Hamburg. The role involves owning the embedded Rust firmware and collaborating directly with the CTO.

The ideal candidate will have over a year of experience with no_std Rust production, a quality mindset with CI/CD practices, and knowledge of safety-critical standards is a plus. This is a full-time hybrid position.

Job Overview

We're building a software‑defined Battery Management System (BMS) platform + instant quote configuration frontend that gets battery manufacturers the right BMS in days, not years. Funded, prototype proven, first large customer contract, based in Hamburg.

Responsibilities

• Own the embedded (no_std) Rust firmware.
• Work directly with the CTO on implementation through certification.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of no_std production Rust experience.
• Testing/quality mindset and experience with CI/CD, HiL, and coverage.
• Bonus: async Rust.
• Bonus: ARM/RISC‑V tracing.
• Bonus: CAN/LIN/BLE/LTE experience.
