Qwello in Munich is seeking an Embedded Engineer to develop software (Rust/Python/C) for our charging stations and cloud infrastructure. You will design for resilience, remote introspection and telemetry, ensuring high uptime on slow network connections and field conditions.
You will work on CI pipelines, debugging hardware/software issues, and architectures for on-premise and cloud systems. Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus.
Our mission at Qwello is to revolutionise the charging industry, we are committed to turn the world from combustion to electric. We design, build and operate charging infrastructure for the public space. We excel in simplicity, user focus and engineering excellence. We value diversity of thought, background and approaches and foster a culture of belonging. We understand that the best products are built by excellent teams, not individual superstars. Be part of shaping the E-mobility of the future!
To reach our goal we are looking for an Embedded Engineer to help us develop software (Rust/Python/C) on our charging stations and cloud infrastructure. At Qwello, you will be responsible for high quality, low bug design & implementation and understand that our stations are far away from home, on a slow network connection and potentially hard to physically get to. Therefore you design for resilience, remote introspection & telemetry first and keep an IOT frame of mind at all times. Security is important to you. You are an efficient engineer, focused on fast execution of your craft.
