Embedded Python Tester – Contract – 3 headcount – AUG Contract

• 40 hours per week
• Not able to provide VISA

We're looking for an Embedded Python Tester to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded devices through robust testing and integration processes.

Your Responsibilities

• Define, create, and integrate software tests in Python for our embedded devices within the CI environment.
• Develop and maintain the test framework and infrastructure.
• Create and maintain documentation related to software quality.
• Work collaboratively in an agile development team.
• Coordinate with firmware, hardware, and other software development teams.
• Integrate software modules and perform functional and software tests on devices.
• Verify software through measurements on hardware.
• Support the integration of devices into the overall system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Technical Informatics.
• Advanced knowledge of software development (with a focus on testing and integration), software quality assurance, and Python.
• Basic knowledge of communication protocols, software configuration management (preferably Git), object-oriented software development, C/C++, embedded Linux, and digital circuit technology.
• Experience with C#, systemd/dbus, safety/security environments, or an ISTQB certification is a plus.
• This position is not suitable for entry-level candidates.
• Proficient in German and advanced English.
