Optimus Search is seeking an experienced Embedded FPGA Engineer for our Hamburg, Germany office. The role focuses on designing and implementing FPGA-based solutions for embedded systems, with emphasis on VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog and close collaboration with hardware and software teams.

You will work on architecture decisions, testing, verification and integration with microprocessors and peripherals, while ensuring performance and power optimisations, in a standards-compliant environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience with FPGA development for embedded hardware systems.
• Strong knowledge of VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Experience with FPGA development tools and simulation environments.
• German language at least B2 level.
• Eligibility to work on regulated projects.

We are currently seeking an experienced Embedded FPGA Engineer to join a technically focused engineering team based in Hamburg, Germany.

Role: Embedded FPGA Engineer

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Salary: Up to €90,000

Language: German at B2 level or above

Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible to work on projects subject to applicable security and regulatory requirements.

About You

We are looking for an experienced FPGA Engineer with strong commercial experience in FPGA development and embedded hardware systems.

You should have experience with VHDL, Verilog or SystemVerilog, alongside a good understanding of digital design, FPGA architecture and verification methodologies.

Experience with FPGA development tools and simulation environments would be highly advantageous.

B2 German language skills are required.
