Freelance Power Electronics Engineer – Energy Systems

Stuttgart | On-site 2–3 days/week | 6 months

An energy tech company is ramping up development of a high-power inverter platform and needs extra brainpower. Huge project excellent daily rates and generous overtime structure.

Tech snapshot:

• Power electronics (10 kW+ systems)
• Gate driver design & thermal management
• Testing & validation (HiL a plus)

Start: Mid-November

Bonus: Experience with grid standards (VDE-AR-N 4105 / 4110)

This is a solid short-term mission where your designs actually light up cities. No fluff.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of a high-power inverter platform for energy systems.
• Engage in power electronics design for 10 kW+ systems, including gate drivers and thermal management considerations.
• Support testing and validation activities, with proficiency in HiL where applicable.

Qualifications / Nice to Have

• Experience with grid standards (VDE-AR-N 4105 / 4110) is a bonus.
• Availability for mid-November start and on-site work 2–3 days per week for a 6-month period.
