We’re recruiting a Development Engineer – Electronics for a high-growth technology company specialising in precision machinery and advanced automation systems. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Design and develop electronic subsystems for advanced precision equipment.
  • Create schematics, design PCB layouts, and validate prototypes from concept through to production.
  • Integrate control electronics into complex mechanical and optical systems.
  • Develop and refine embedded firmware and hardware‑near drivers.
  • Collaborate closely with software, mechanical, and systems engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Analyse, test, and optimise electronic performance, ensuring reliability and precision.
  • Oversee suppliers and development partners to maintain quality and delivery standards.
  • Support the full product lifecycle — from initial design to commissioning and service.
What You Bring
  • Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Experience in circuit design, PCB layout, and embedded systems.
  • Hands‑on knowledge of microcontrollers, FPGA, and firmware programming (C/C++ or VHDL).
  • Background in machinery, automation, or precision equipment development.
  • Strong analytical skills and a practical, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving.
