Ingersoll Rand in Germany is seeking an Electrician (m/f/d) to join our production team. You will assemble, wire, test, and commission electrical components and control systems to ensure reliable operation.

The ideal candidate has completed industrial electrician or electronics technician training, several years of experience, and a practical mindset. You will interpret diagrams, support commissioning, and collaborate across departments.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training as an Industrial Electrician or Electronics Technician.
• Several years of experience in electrical assembly or industrial wiring.
• Ability to read circuit diagrams and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Assemble and wire control cabinets and electrical assemblies according to diagrams.
• Install and commission pre-assembled control systems.
• Perform electrical functional tests, troubleshoot, and rectify faults.
• Upload PLC programs to control systems.
• Conduct and document measurements per testing requirements.
• Support trial runs and commissioning activities.
• Prepare and configure cables for wiring in control cabinets.
• Review and maintain bills of materials (BOMs).
• Support prototype assembly and development projects.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Warehouse and other departments to resolve technical issues.

Your Responsibilities

• Assembly and wiring of control cabinets and electrical assemblies according to circuit diagrams and technical drawings
• Installation and commissioning of pre-assembled control systems
• Performing electrical functional tests, troubleshooting, and fault rectification
• Uploading PLC programs to control systems
• Conducting and documenting measurements in accordance with testing requirements
• Supporting trial runs and commissioning activities
• Preparing and configuring cables for control cabinet wiring
• Reviewing and maintaining bills of materials (BOMs)
• Supporting prototype assembly and development projects
• Collaborating closely with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve technical issues

What You Bring

• Completed training as an Industrial Electrician, Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, additional qualifications such as Master Craftsman, Technician, or an equivalent certification
• Several years of professional experience in electrical assembly, control cabinet construction, or industrial wiring
• Confident interpretation of circuit diagrams, technical drawings, and testing documentation
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled systems is an advantage
• A structured, independent, and quality-oriented way of working
• Strong teamwork skills and a high level of responsibility
