Zusammenfassung

STS Group in Frankfurt, Germany is seeking an Electrical Walkdown Inspector to verify installed electrical systems against design drawings and ensure readiness for test packs and handover. Reporting to the Quality Manager/Project Manager, you will perform field walkdowns, document defects, and support commissioning engineers to resolve punch lists while upholding STS Quality and Safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Trade background: Recognised Electrical Craft / Trade Qualification (preferred) or an MEP/Electrical Diploma/Degree with strong field inspection experience.
• Relevant experience: Proven track record as an Electrical Inspector, QAQC Inspector, or Electrical Site Supervisor on major industrial, data centre, or heavy commercial projects.
• Defect management: Direct experience carrying out systematic walkdowns, generating clear punch lists, and driving subcontractor defect rectification.
• Technical rigour: High attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and site layout drawings.

Aufgaben

• Perform thorough physical walkdowns of electrical and energy system installations against approved drawings, specifications, and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Identify, document, and track installation defects, non-conformances, and punch-list items through to full resolution.
• Perform physical verification of cable routing, containment, terminations, switchgear, transformers, and distribution boards.
• Witness field inspections and support the close-out of physical punch list items prior to system energisation and handover to the Cx (Commissioning) team.
• Assist in verifying that physical installations align with completed Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and project standards.
• Conduct joint walkdowns with subcontractors, client representatives, and commissioning engineers.
• Support the field-level implementation of STS Quality and Safety standards on site.
• Provide accurate daily/weekly field inspection updates to input into overall project progress reports.
• Attend site quality walkdowns and resolve physical interface issues on the shop floor.

The Opportunity
