Sécheron Hasler Group in Germany seeks an Electrical Site Supervisor & Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d) for nationwide railway energy projects. The role focuses on erection, commissioning, and on-site coordination of substations and switchgear up to 30 kV, with extensive travel across Germany.

You will support projects from implementation to acceptance, lead on-site teams, ensure compliance with standards (VOB, HOAI, VDE), and drive timely, quality execution while maintaining clear communication

Qualifikationen

• Completed training or studies in electrical engineering, energy technology or a related technical field.
• Professional experience in electrical engineering, electrical installation, or related areas such as power distribution, renewable energy, or rail.
• Experience coordinating construction sites with multiple suppliers.
• Knowledge of standards (VOB, HOAI, VDE) or willingness to learn.
• Switching authorization for systems up to 30 kV.
• Strong communication, flexibility, and willingness to travel nationwide.
• German and English skills for working in an international environment.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate, plan and manage installation and commissioning of rectifier substations at customer sites across Germany.
• Support projects from implementation to acceptance and manage on-site assembly teams.
• Monitor timely, quality execution per plans, standards and regs.
• Perform electrical protection and functional tests up to 30 kV/3 kV and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults and develop effective solutions.
• Prepare construction plans, billable services and acceptances.
• Coordinate and monitor on-site suppliers; maintain liaison with customers and authorities.

We are looking for a Electrical Site Supervisor & Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d)Full-time (100%) for our Germany-wide projects in the field of railway energy supply.

• Coordination, planning and management of the installation and commissioning of rectifier substations at our customers’ sites throughout Germany
• Support of projects from implementation to final acceptance, as well as the organization and management of assembly teams on site
• Monitoring of the professional, timely and quality execution of the work in accordance with planning documents, standards and regulations
• Carrying out electrical protection and functional tests on medium-voltage switchgear (up to 30kV), DC switchgear (up to 3kV), transformers and low-voltage systems
• Fault diagnosis and development of effective solutions to resolve faults
• Preparation of construction plans, billing of construction services and implementation of acceptances
• Coordination and monitoring of suppliers on the construction site
• Regular coordination with customers, service providers and authorities

Requirements

• Successfully completed training or studies in the field of electrical engineering, energy technology or a comparable technical field
• Professional experience in electrical engineering, electrical installation or related fields such as power distribution, renewable energy, industrial plants, mechanical engineering, rail vehicles or comparable technical environments
• Proven experience in the professional and timely coordination of construction sites with various suppliers (e.g. buildings, automation, switchgear, transformers, electrical installations)
• Basic knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. B. VOB, HOAI, VDE) or the willingness to familiarize yourself with these topics
• Switching authorization for systems up to 30kV
• Self-confident appearance, strong communication skills, commitment and flexibility
• High willingness to travel, as location throughout Germany

The following are also advantageous:

• Experience in handling customer projects
• In-depth knowledge of CAE/CAD systems, confident handling of technical documentation and MS Project
• Basic knowledge of automation technology (IEC 61850 is a plus)
• Advanced understanding of quality assurance processes
