Established European M&E Contractor in Frankfurt is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical delivery of a large data centre project from construction through commissioning and handover. You will work closely with the main contractor, client team and subcontractors to manage programme, technical coordination, labour, materials and quality.

Rotation can be discussed, with the standard 17/4 arrangement.

Qualifikationen

• Must have experience as an Electrical Project Manager on large-scale projects.
• Data centre or mission critical project experience required.
• Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems.
• Experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors.

The Company

This established M&E contractor has over 40 years’ experience delivering complex mechanical and electrical projects across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.

They work across data centres, mission critical, pharmaceutical, industrial, logistics, healthcare and large-scale commercial projects, with a growing pipeline of work in Germany and across Europe.

The Role: Electrical Project Manager

Based in Frankfurt, Germany, you will take responsibility for the electrical delivery of a large-scale project from construction through commissioning and handover.

Working closely with the main contractor, client team and subcontractors, you will manage programme, technical coordination, labour, materials, quality and overall electrical delivery.

Rotation can be discussed, with the standard arrangement operating on a 17/4 basis.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have strong experience as an Electrical Project Manager or similar electrical management role
• Proven experience required on data centre, mission critical, pharmaceutical, industrial or large-scale commercial projects
• Strong working knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems
• Experience managing electrical teams and subcontractors on large projects is required

Preferred Experience

• Electrical, construction or project management qualification preferred
• Previous European project experience beneficial
• Experience managing electrical packages through commissioning and handover

Key Responsibilities

• Manage electrical works from project start-up through to commissioning and handover
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements
• Manage technical submittals, RFIs and approvals
• Coordinate electrical subcontractors, labour and specialist suppliers
• Track progress, labour productivity and programme delivery
• Liaise with the main contractor, client team and project stakeholders
• Coordinate plant, equipment and material deliveries
• Manage electrical construction and commissioning programmes
• Oversee snagging, quality control and close‑out documentation
• Attend site and subcontractor meetings and report progress to senior management

About You

You are an experienced Electrical Project Manager with a background delivering complex electrical packages on large-scale construction projects.

You will have strong LV/MV knowledge, good subcontractor management skills and experience driving projects through installation, testing, commissioning and handover. You should be comfortable taking ownership of programme delivery and resolving technical or site issues as they arise.
