Zusammenfassung

Established European M&E Contractor in Frankfurt is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Manager to lead the electrical commissioning of a large-scale data centre project from pre‑commissioning through energisation, IST and handover.

You will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors and vendors, manage commissioning plans and documentation, and ensure safe, on-time delivery in a demanding, rotating schedule (17/4).

Qualifikationen

• Must have proven experience managing electrical commissioning on large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of HV, MV and LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers and UPS.
• Hands-on experience across energisation, testing, commissioning and handover.

The Company

This established M&E contractor has over 40 years’ experience delivering complex mechanical and electrical projects across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe. They work across data centres, mission critical, pharmaceutical, industrial and large-scale commercial projects, with a strong pipeline of work in Germany and across Europe.

The Role: Electrical Commissioning Manager

Based in Frankfurt, Germany, you will lead the electrical commissioning of a large‑scale project from pre‑commissioning and energisation through Integrated Systems Testing, handover and close‑out.

You will coordinate closely with project, construction, QA/QC and design teams, specialist subcontractors and vendors to ensure electrical systems are commissioned safely and in line with programme.

Rotation can be discussed, with the standard arrangement operating on a 17/4 basis.

Must Have Requirements

• Must have proven experience managing electrical commissioning on large-scale construction projects
• Strong technical knowledge of HV, MV and LV electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, UPS systems and generators is required
• Hands‑on experience required across energisation, testing, commissioning and project handover
• Experience leading commissioning teams, specialist subcontractors and vendors is required

Preferred Experience

• Data centre or mission critical project experience preferred
• Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience beneficial
• AP or SAP qualification beneficial
• Integrated Systems Testing and energisation planning experience preferred

About You

You will be comfortable leading commissioning teams, resolving technical issues and coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and specialist vendors in a demanding project environment.
