As an Electrical Engineer your main functions/tasks will be:
- Development of the detail engineering for conveyor baggage handling systems or parcel sortation systems.
- Development of the electrical engineering part and the associated functional documentation electrical drawings, Electrical layouts, Procurement and product specifications.
- Coordination of the electrical scope in projects.
- Followup and compliance of the Machine Directive and Health & Safety regulations in electrical installations.
- Coordination with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Working closely with the Mechanical and Control Engineers from the Engineering department.
- Advice and reviews potential projects in the sales phase.
- Coordinate interfaces for procurement items.
- Create / generate the equipment list as input for hard and software engineering.
- Specify electrical equipment and peer review specifications of other engineers.
- Coordinate and specify resale equipment (standard and special).
- Create of manufacturing electrical layouts.
- Define activity split up based on installation areas, PLC areas and model split-up.
- If needed makes forecasts of necessary equipment.
- Define and monitor electrical work packages.
Job Requirements:
- You have a Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical or equivalent.
- Preferably working experience as project engineer, lead engineer or product engineer.
- Preferably you have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Ideally worked on integrated Automation Systems in the Manufacturing or Distribution Industries.
- Strong skills in E-PLAN P8.
- Skills in CAD programs (AutoCAD, PLM, PDM, etc.) and office computer systems.
- Knowledge in SAP ECTR, Citrix, JIRA.
- Knowledge of power distribution, Estops systems, FieldBus systems, frequency converters, motors, control cabinets, cable installations, machine control techniques, automation, PLC as well as the Machinery Directive standards.
