Zusammenfassung

Jarit GmbH in Germany is seeking an experienced Health & Safety professional to lead the introduction, implementation and maintenance of occupational health and safety topics. You will act as Safety Delegate, manage budgets, train staff, build safety systems, ensure SOP compliance, and support audits with external providers and authorities.

As part of the role you will work across Operations, Import/Export and Warehouse activities, driving safety improvements and ensuring regulatory compliance

Qualifikationen

• Technical qualification and/or experience in Health & Safety.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Health & Safety.
• Good organizational skills and communication.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems.
• Fluent in writing, reading and speaking English.

• Carrying out internal employee training on health & safety topics.

• Ensuring SOPs and work instructions for Health & Safety are followed.
• Facility management and cooperation with external providers for maintenance and site protection.
• Administrative support for IT (not on site).
• Supporting EHS audits and coordinating with FM-Global and authorities.
• Conducting root cause / 5 Why analyses and improvement plans.
• Supporting Operations, Import/Export and Warehouse activities.

• Responsibility for the building of the safety system and corresponding safety precautions
• Ensuring that SOPs and work instructions for Health & Safety are adhered to
• Facility management, including cooperation with external providers regarding building maintenance, cleaning and site protection services
• Administrative support for IT (not on site)
• Support EHS audits and serve as primary contact to FM-Global as well as for local public administration and authorities
• Conducting detailed analysis such as root cause / 5 Why and improvement plan
• Supporting Operations, Import/Export and Warehouse activities

• Good organizational skills, the ability to work well with others, and excellent communication skills
