Suir Engineering Ltd. invites a Senior / EHS Advisor to join the Data Center project in Berlin, Germany. The role focuses on ensuring full compliance with Health, Safety and Workplace legislation and implementing the Integrated Management System on site.

You will act as SME for High Risk Activities, develop risk assessments and SOPs, train teams, promote the Suir Way, and lead incident investigations with root cause analysis. 5+ years’ EHS experience is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety roles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist the EHS Manager to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Construction Team on the Integrated Management System.
• Ensure site is set up with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
• Act as SME in High Risk Activities and ensure proper controls on site.
• Develop Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Develop SOPs and provide training to site personnel.
• Promote the Suir Way and interfaces with Health & Safety.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior / EHS Advisor to join Suir Engineering Ltd. This position will be on a Data Center project in Berlin, Germany.

We are currently expanding significantly, and are delivering large scale projects across Ireland, the U.K, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.

What you will be doing?

• Assist the EHS Manager in achieving Suir’s Critical Success Factor 1. ‘To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation’
• Work effectively with the Project Manager and Construction Team with the implementation of the Integrated Management System
• Ensure the site is adequately set up with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suir’s Hight Risk Activities (HRA’s) and ensure that they are identified and effectively controlled on site.
• Assist with the development of Risk Assessment & Method Statements
• Assist with the development of SOP’s and provide training and communication to site personnel.
• Become familiar with and promote the ‘Suir Way’ and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
• Report and Investigate incidents when they occur and ensure root causes are identified, mitigated and communicated.

• Suitable Candidates must have Relevant Health and Safety Diploma / Degree and Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety role.
