Suir Engineering Ltd. is seeking a Senior / EHS Advisor for a Data Center project in Berlin, Germany. The role supports the EHS Manager to ensure full compliance with health, safety and workplace laws while integrating with the project team.

You will become a Subject Matter Expert for high-risk activities, help develop risk assessments, SOPs, and training, and promote the Suir Way on site. Excellent English communication and a relevant health and safety qualification are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant Health and Safety Diploma / Degree.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Assist the EHS Manager in achieving compliance with health, safety and workplace legislation.
• Collaborate with Project Manager and Construction Team on Integrated Management System.
• Set up site with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
• Become SME in Suir’s High Risk Activities and control them on site.
• Develop Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Develop SOPs and train site personnel.
• Promote the Suir Way and interface with Health & Safety.
• Report and investigate incidents and communicate root causes and mitigations.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior / EHS Advisor to join Suir Engineering Ltd. This position will be on a Data Center project in Berlin, Germany.

What you will be doing?

• Assist the EHS Manager in achieving Suir’s Critical Success Factor 1. ‘To ensure we are fully compliant in all Health, Safety & Workplace Legislation’
• Work effectively with the Project Manager and Construction Team with the implementation of the Integrated Management System
• Ensure the site is adequately set up with a Site-Specific Construction EHS Plan.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all of Suir’s Hight Risk Activities (HRA’s) and ensure that they are identified and effectively controlled on site.
• Assist with the development of Risk Assessment & Method Statements
• Assist with the development of SOP’s and provide training and communication to site personnel.
• Become familiar with and promote the ‘Suir Way’ and its interfaces with Health & Safety.
• Report and Investigate incidents when they occur and ensure root causes are identified, mitigated and communicated.
