Job summary

CloserHire is seeking a passionate Bike Mechanic in Stuttgart, Germany to service and repair a wide range of e-bikes in a fast-growing startup environment.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair e-bikes, prepare them for delivery, and contribute to process improvements while working with a skilled team in a modern workshop.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in bike/e-bike mechanics
• 2+ years for senior role
• Fluency in English (C1) is mandatory; German is a plus

CloserHire is partnering with an innovative e-mobility company on a mission to make sustainable transport accessible to everyone. We are looking for a passionate Bike Mechanic to join their largest refurbishment center, located in Stuttgart, where e-bikes are brought back to life with care, precision, and top-tier tools. This is your chance to work in a fast-paced, growing startup that combines technology, mechanics, and sustainability under one roof.

Day to day that means independently perform inspection, troubleshooting, spare parts selection, repair, and quality control on a wide variety of e-bikes. Prepare e-bikes for customer delivery and maintain the in-house fleet. Contribute to continuous improvement in repair processes and service quality. Support warehouse operations with ideas to optimize efficiency and workflow.

What you need to bring

• Mechanic). Solid knowledge of electric bikes, their components, and diagnostic tools. Passion for quality, efficiency, and hands-on technical problem-solving. Comfort working independently and as part of a close-knit team. Fluency in English is mandatory (C1), German is a plus
